A simple sequence, taken from one of Muybridge’s famous ‘in Motion’ sequences demonstrating how an action, situation, or interaction can be seen in different ways depending on framing and emphasis. Standard comic-book stuff, but nonetheless an entertaining triptych.
Framing and viewing a scene is something that interests me greatly, especially when it seems it has the ability to re-configure meaning, and so it lifted far beyond ‘composition. The view, it seems, almost more important than the subject itself.
